' In addition, the following minimum clearances above traverse ways <br />' shall be provided to prevent temporary, mobile obstructions to the <br />above - defined surfaces: <br />' A. 17 feet above interstate highways; <br />B. 15 feet above all other public roadways; <br />J <br /> II <br />C. 10 feet or the height of the highest mobile object that would <br />normally traverse the road, whichever is greater, above <br /> I1 8 <br />' <br />C. The conical surface extends upward and outward from the <br />periphery of the horizontal surface at a slope of 20:1 for a <br />' <br />horizontal distance of 4,000 feet as measured radially outward <br />from the periphery of the horizontal surface; <br />D. The approach surface is longitudinally centered on the extended <br />centerline at each end of the runway and it inclines upward and <br />' <br />outward at a slope of 40:1 for a horizontal distance of 10,000 <br />feet. The inner edge of the approach surface is the same width <br />' <br />and elevation as, and coincides with, the end of the primary <br />surface and it expands uniformly to a width of 3500' at the outer <br />' <br />edge; <br />' <br />E.
