AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION <br />I <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 4, SECTION 4.1.1 OF THE <br />RAMSEY CITY CHARTER. <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br />SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br />This ordinance is adopted pursu- <br />ant to and under the authority of the <br />City Charter of the City of Ramsey. <br />SECTION 2. AMENDMENT <br />Chapter 4, Section 4.11 of the <br />City Charter is amended to provide as <br />follows: <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT <br />Chapter 4, Section 4.1.1 of the <br />City Charter is deleted and replaced <br />with the following: <br />Section 4.1.1 Primary Elections. <br />Primary elections shall be held on the <br />same date as prescribed by the Min- <br />nesota Statute, which establishes the <br />statewide primary election date. The <br />primary election shall be for the selec- <br />tion of two nominees for each elec- <br />tive office at the regular municipal <br />election, unless two nominees or <br />fewer file for each elective office. <br />SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE <br />The effective date of this ordi- <br />nance is ninety (90) days after its pas- <br />sage and publication, subject to <br />Minn.
