There is currently a great deal of hangar development
in the north building azea and room for additional expansion, both airside and
landside. Residential uses have not yet begun to encroach into the vicinity of the
~~
('7) fit. Paui Downtown
The activity levels at St. Paul Downtown Airport have prompted complaints
by local residents concerning aircraft noise levels. Since. 1982, however, an advisory
council formed to address community complaints has been effective in reducing noise
impacts. Other issues at the airport include expanded corporate facilities (induced
in part by a low fuel flowage fee) and continued military operations.
(g) Louth St Paul Amort
South St. Paul Airport is currently increasing its hangaz facilities and has the
potential for further expansion on land currently used for agricultural purposes.
Activity is on the rise at the airport, with existing FBOs experiencing increases in
business and new industries locating on-airport.

I.49
