Case #4: Public Hearing -Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Exceed the Total <br />Amount of Accessory Structure Square Footage at 8700 1715 Avenue NW; <br />Case of Rob Schiller <br />Public HearinE <br />Chairperson Levine called the public hearing to order 8:26 p.m. <br />Presentation <br />Management Intern Hendricks presented the staff report. <br />Citizen Innut <br />Rob Schiller, 8700 1715 Avenue NW, the applicant, stated he was trying to be pro-active by <br />getting his items stored inside and his truck does not fit in the current garage. The shipping <br />containers will be removed once the accessory structure is up. The current amount of storage <br />space is not related to his business, but he has a number of items that need to be stored inside <br />with the new off street parking ordinance going into effect. <br />Discussion ensued regarding what was considered an accessory structure and how they were <br />counted. <br />Associate Planner Gladhill stated any driveway to the accessory structure would have to be a <br />minimum of Class V. <br />Management Intern Hendricks stated the applicant proposes that the shed will have the same <br />exterior as the house. <br />Motion by Commissioner Van Scoy, seconded by Commissioner Cleveland, to close the public <br />hearing. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Van Scoy, Cleveland, <br />Dunaway, Brauer, and Hunt. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Rogers. <br />The public hearing closed at 8:39 p.m. <br />Commission Business <br />Motion by Commissioner Dunaway, seconded by Commissioner Hunt, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt Findings of Fact relating to the Applicant's request for a conditional use permit. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Dunaway, Hunt Brauer, <br />Cleveland, and Van Scoy. Voting No: None.
