Assuming that it is properly planned and designed, <br />the utility airport should become an asset to the community from both an <br />aesthetic and an economic viewpoint. Airplane operations should be a <br />matter of positive interest to local residents. Fortunately, the noise <br />level generated by airplanes in the utility category generally does not <br />present any conflict to activities in the community. Nevertheless, it is <br />a factor that must be considered in the development of compatible land <br />use zoning near the airport.
