PURPOSE. This change transmits revised pages to the subject advisory <br />circular. <br />2. CANCELLATIONS. The following advisory circulars are cancelled. <br />a. AC 150/5300-5, Airport Reference Point, dated September 26, 1968. <br />b. AC 150/5325-8, Compass Calibration Pad, dated May 8, 1969. <br />3. EXPLANATION OF CHANGES. Asterisks are used to indicate changes, <br />deletions, or additions. <br />a. Definition of utility airport expanded to include all aircraft <br />of 12,500 pounds (5 670 kg) maximum gross weight and less. <br />b. Definition of terms used in this advisory circular added. <br />c. The relationship between obstacle, obstruction to air navigation, <br />hazard to air navigation, and airport hazard defined. <br />d. The requirement to use AC 150/5300-6 design criteria for precision <br />instrument utility runways deleted. <br />e. Obstacle removal criteria for precision instrument runway on <br />utility airports reduced -commensurate with small aircraft <br />requirement. <br />f.
