Data are presented <br />for 100 to 200 locations within the state. <br />b. Selected Climatic Maps of the United States (NOAA). These are 29 <br />separate maps which show a great variety of information including <br />temperature, precipitation, and wind. <br />c. Rainfall Frequency Atlas of the United States (NOAA), Technical <br />Paper No. 40. This document is a convenient summary of rainfall <br />data and is often used in the design of an airport drainage system. <br />d. Climatography of the U.S., Series No. 81 (NOAA), Monthly Normals of <br />Temperature, Precipitation and Heating Degree Days. This series, <br />which has replaced Technical Bulletin No. 31, summarizes the above <br />data by state. <br />e. Climatography of the U.S. Series No. 82 (NOAA), Summary of Hourly <br />Observations. This series gives data for wind, temperatures, <br />ceiling -visibility, and precipitation. The data are summarized for <br />individual locations and supersede the Series No. 30 publication. <br />f. Climates of the States, Series No. 60 (NOAA). This series is <br />issued for each state.
