• •
US Department
of Transportation
Federal Aviation
Administration
April 8, 1986
Mr. Jack Ippel, Chairman
Ramsey Airport Commission
City of Ramsey
15153 Nowthen Boulevard N. W.
Ramsey, MN 55303
Dear Mr. Ippel:
Airports District Office
6301 34th Avenue South
Minneapolis, MN 55450
Gateway North Industrial Airport
Ramsey, MN
Nt
APR 9 1985
This letter confirms Gateway North Industrial Airport's inclusion in the
National Plan of Integrated Airport System. Inclusion of the airport is based
on criteria in paragraph 202.d.(2) of Order 5090.3B.
The purpose of the National Plan of Integrated Systems (NPIAS) is to identify
for Congress and the public, a national system of airports together with the
airport development and costs necessary to expand and improve the system in
order to anticipate and meet the present and future needs of civil
aeronautics. The NPIAS includes airport development in which there is a
potential Federal interest and on which Federal funds may be spent under the
Airport Improvement Program (AIP). The inclusion of airport development in
the NPIAS does not represent Federal approval of that development, nor does it
commit the Federal government in any way to participate in the cost of any
project. Such aid may be granted, subject to the availability of funds, only
upon the request of an eligible sponsor and upon fulfillment of various
requirements, including a more thorough study and analysis, meeting the
provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969.
Sincerely,
4. Ian
Robert A.
