We are faced with the loss of an establised and pro- <br />fitable store if the City's plan for the acquisition of the air- <br />port and the additional runway space goes through. What is also <br />troubling is that there are no projections or any other supportive <br />figures showing what revenues would be derived from the acquisition <br />and expansion of an airport in Ramsey to fund and finance this pro- <br />ject. We would hope that the City would reconsider the acquisition <br />of the airport and its proposed expansion until a further more in- <br />depth study can be made. <br />As things stand now, Tom Thumb Food Markets, Inc. is totally <br />opposed to the acquisition of the airport and the enactment of the <br />airport zoning ordinance. <br />Very truly your, <br />?jS <br />Wallace R.
