#5) Why are member(s) of the Airport Commission also owners of land being <br />purchased for the airport? <br />#6) Why at the Public Hearing, when only a few people for the airport and <br />an overwhelming majority against the airport stated their views did the <br />City Council not cancel the project? <br />It is certainly curious that the airport project will affect all the tax- <br />payers in Ramsey in one way or another. The city, is planning to purchase <br />private residences, land and existing businesses. With this purchase it <br />will remove these properties from paying taxes. Who do you think will <br />pick up their share of the taxes? All the rest of Ramsey taxpayers. <br />With all the negatives, I can only hope that the City Council will vote <br />NO for the airport. <br />Respectfull <br />JRS:scm <br />er <br />
