• • NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Notice is hereby given that the Gateway North Industrial Airport Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 29, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the adoption of an Airport Zoning Ordinance in the area of the Gateway North Industrial Airport. The proposed Ordinance and the accompanying map are available for public inspection at the Ramsey Municipal Center during regular business hours. The property affected by the proposed Airport Zoning Ordinance is some, but not all, of the land lying within 6,200 feet of the airport's runways. The types of restrictions proposed for each area are set forth in detail in the proposed Ordinance and map. The precise restrictions which would be imposed vary, depending on the location of the property. The restrictions generally regulate height of structures, the location or size, and use of buildings and the density of population. The most restrictive provisions would apply to the areas located in a trapezoidal area of the end of each runway, which area extends out from the end of the proposed 3,300 foot runway a distance equal to the length of the runway plus two hundred feet. Persons who believe that they may be affected by the proposed Ordinance are encouraged to review it and ascertain the specific impact which it would have on their property. All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing and comment on the proposed Ordinance. Written comments are welcome and shall be addressed to the Gateway North Industrial Airport Zoning Board, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, 55303.
