PURMORT HOMES, INC.
Celebrating 1 S years of Excellent Service
7842 149' Ave. NW./Ramsey, MN 55303
763.433.0366
Email: purmorthomes@yahoo.com
www. ~urmorthomes. com
Apri15, 2010
Tim Himmer
City of Ramsey, Engineer
7550 Sunwood Drive NW
Ramsey, Mri 55303
Dear Mr. Himmer,
This letter is in response to our conversation about requesting me be heard to discuss with
you and the city board, the possibility of using the product "Endopure" for the hook up of
the city water line to the house, on new construction.
I strongly believe the positives out way the negatives. In fact, most of the metropolitan
cities are using "Endopure" in new construction. Some of the cities using this product
are: Blaine, Andover, Maple Grove, Plymouth, Ostego, Minnetonka, and Roseville.
I know that a couple of your concerns were; 1) no tacer wire? Endopure does have a
factory installed tracer wire. 2) The ability of freezing? Installing the water line in new
construction is installed quite a bit deeper that the frost line (10 - 12' Deep). In addition,
if the line needed to be heated, the melt index is (ASTM D1238) >0.08 g/10 min.
Endopure meets and exceeds the requirements within the state code and all applicable
ASTM standards. In addition, Endopure conforms to NSF standard 14 for potable water.
Being one of the major builders in the Ramsey Town Center with over 30 building sites
this product makes sense financially, durability, installation, theft, and most important
health wise. Please review ALL the attached documents thoroughly, and get back to me.
Thanks for your time and consideration...
Sincerely,
%1
omas Purmort
Purmort Homes, Inc.
Enclosures
