Otto: <br />(9' <br />jut 2 2 198T <br />As per your request of 10 July, 1987, the Minnesota Natural Heritage <br />Program has reviewed the area near Gateway Airport in Ramsey, Minnesota for <br />occurrences of rare plant and animal species or other sensitive natural <br />features. A search of our dataiase indicates that there are no known <br />occurrences of rare species or sensitive natural features within the project <br />area. <br />The Natural Heritage Program, a unit within the Section of Wildlife, <br />Department of Natural Resources, has compiled the most complete single source of <br />data on Minnesota's rare, erdangered, or otherwise significant plant and animal <br />species, plant camnunities, and other natural features. While this information <br />is comprehensive, it cannot 1e considered a substitute for an on -site survey. <br />Because there has not been an on -site survey of the biological resources of the <br />project area, it is possible that ecologically significant features exist for <br />which we have no record. <br />An invoice for work completed will be forthcoming.
