Background: <br />The Ramsey Business Expo was held at the PACT Charter School on May 1 from 9 am — 2 pm. <br />49 businesses were in attendance, with one failing to attend. There was a wide variety of <br />exhibitors, and the weather didn't seem to stop anyone from coming out to enjoy themselves. <br />Staff estimates that attendance was approximately 300. This number was an estimate made from <br />the number of pamphlets that were taken and prize drawing tickets that were filled out. <br />Feedback from residents and exhibitors was widely positive. Attendees were encouraged to <br />share their suggestions for improving the Expo when nominating a Business of the Year, and <br />responses were overwhelmingly positive. Some of the crowd favorites included MacLennan <br />Computers, whose booth featured caricature drawings, and Acapulco, as well as other restaurant <br />exhibitors. <br />The only suggestion that staff would have for the event next year is to look into renting <br />additional tables.
