Councilmember Wise introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #10-03-067 <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />SECRETARY <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Lana Howell was reassigned to the Fire Department Secretary position <br />on October 12, 2009 and was subject to a six-month probationary period; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Howell has successfully completed the required six-month <br />probationary period; and <br />WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its March 23, 2010 meeting agreed <br />with staff s recommendation to end the probationary period for Lana Howell, effective .April 12, <br />2010. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel <br />Committee to end the probationary period for Lana Howell, effective April 12, 2010. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Look, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Wise <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />
