The towing and storage services listed below have been <br />given a point total based on service provided to c'~izens and the City of tRamsey. <br />Proposals can score a maximum of 55 points, The Towing service business that <br />offers to provide each service for the lowest cost shall, receive the highesl: point <br />value for that service. The Towing service business with. the. highest aggregate <br />point total is the Iow proposal in terms of cost, but is not necessarily the Towing <br />service that will best serve the City's needs. <br /> <br />Charge for towing of passenger vehicles; including cars, light trucks, (% <br />ton to less, vans, utility vehicles, 4 x 4's, motorcycles) (10 points possible) <br /> <br />Charge for towing of vehicles % ton to 1% ton capacity (5 points possible) <br /> <br />Charge for towing of vehicles larger than 1~ ton capacity (5 points <br />possible) <br /> <br />4. Wench out (5 points possible) <br /> <br />5. "Hook up" or "Impound" Charge (5 points possible) <br /> <br />"Loaded Mile" Rate for transporting vehicle to Impound Lot (5 points <br />possible) <br /> <br />Charge for each 24 hours of storage: <br /> Inside storage (5 points possible) <br /> Outside storage (513oints possible) <br /> <br />Flat. rate charge for designated forfeiture, vehicles released to the Police <br />Department, (5 points possible) <br /> <br />Towing of marked and unmarked police vehicles. (5.points possible) <br /> <br />All pdces or rates for these services contained, in a towing business's proposal <br />are considered the prices that will' be used when the City enters .into the contract <br />for Towing services with the Contractor. The Contractor may not change, modify, <br />alter, or amend the pdces or rates for services contained in its proposal when <br />entedng into the contract for towing services. The Contractor aisc may not <br />change, modify, alter, or amend the prices or rates for services contained in.its <br />proposal for the duration of the contract period, .unless such change, <br />modification, alteration, or amendment is made in writing and approved by both <br />the City and the Contractor. <br /> <br />-127- <br /> <br /> <br />
