Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #10-03-074 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH MILCON, INC. FOR THE <br />REMODEL OF LEASE SPACE AND MID-SIZE CONFERENCE ROOM IN THE <br />RAMSEY MUNICIPAL CENTER <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has approved a redesign of the Ramsey Municipal <br />Center to accommodate the Anoka County License Center and the creation of a mid-size <br />conference room for City use; and <br />WHEREAS, the BKV Group prepared a bid package for the redesign of the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the bid opening occurred March 22, 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, the bids received were reviewed during the March 23, 2010 City Council <br />Meeting. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey has authorized staff to enter into a contract <br />with the selected contractor for the redesign of the Ramsey Municipal Center to <br />accommodate the Anoka County License Center and to create amid-size conference <br />room for City use. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Ramsey, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Wise <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />
