No. 08.25, § 2, <br />8-12-2008) ~ _ - <br />Sec: 117-521. -Business and industrial park signs. <br />(a) <br />Padc identification signs. Industrial or business park signs shall be permitted to contain the following information: the <br />name and address of the park, the management or the developer thereof, and the names of the individual <br />businesses located within said park. Park identification signs shall contain no advertising material of any kind, and <br />shall be subject to the following: <br />~1) <br />All industrial and business park signs shall be ground orwall signs. <br />i2) <br />There shall not be more than one industrial or business park sign for each point of vehicular access to an office or <br />industrial park. <br />~g~ <br />The gross surface area of an industrial or business park sign shall not exceed 100 square feet in gross surface <br />area for each exposed face nor exceed an aggregate gross surface area of 200 square feet. <br />C4) <br />Aground industrial or business park sign shall not project higher than ten feet, as measured from base of sign or <br />grade of the nearest adjacent roadway, whichever is higher. <br />fib) <br />Park memberidentification signs. <br />(1) <br />There shall not be more than one wall sign for each principal building or tenant or use within a building, except <br />where the building abuts two or more streets, additional such signs, one oriented to each abutting street, shall be <br />permitted. <br />C2) <br />There shall not be more than one ground sign for each principal building. <br />(3) <br />The gross surface area of a wall sign shall not exceed 15 percent of the occupants proportionate share of the <br />building wall to which the sign is to be affixed. A wall sign shall not project higher than the parapet line of the wall <br />to which the sign is to be affixed. <br />~4) <br />The gross surface area of a ground sign shall not exceed 100 square feet for each exposed face nor exceed an <br />aggregate gross surface area of 200 square feet. <br />~5) <br />A ground sign shall not project higher than ten feet, as measured from base of sign or grade of the nearest <br />adjacent roadway, whichever is higher. <br />(Code 1978, § 9.12.10; Ord. No. 08.25, § 2, <br />8-12-2008) <br />-_ ....__ <br />_. <br />Sec. 117-522. -Construction specifications. <br />(a) <br />All signs permitted by this division in excess of 16 square feet shall be painted, lettered, or faced to the workmanship <br />standards and best commercial practices of companies normally engaged in the business of providing commercial <br />isb)ns, using materials designed and marketed specifically for use on outdoor signs. <br />In addition to complying with the provisions of this division, all signs shall be constructed in accordance with the <br />applicable provisions of the 1991 Edition of the Uniform Sign Code and State Electrical Code and as subsequently <br />amended. <br />(c) <br />All signs shall be located in such a way that they maintain horizontal and vertical clearance of all electdcal power <br />lines and communication lines. <br />(d, <br />All signs and their supporting structures shall maintain clearance and non-interference with all surface and <br />underground facilities and conduits forwater, sewage, gas, electricity, or communications equipment or lines.
