CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />Topic Report: 2009 CAFR & <br />MANAGEMENT REPORT <br />By: Diana Lund, Finance Officer <br />Background: <br />The city's 2009 annual audit has been completed. Aaron Nielson from the auditing firm <br />of MMKR will be present to review the 2009 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report <br />(CAFR) and Management Report. <br />Mr. Nielson will also be making a brief presentation of the audit report at the regularly <br />scheduled council meeting. <br />The receipt of the 2009 CAFR and the request for submittal of the CAFR to the <br />Governmental Finance Officers Association for the Certificate of Achievement in <br />Financial Reporting has been placed on the consent agenda of tonight's meeting. <br />Action Statement: <br />Presentation of the CAFR and Management Report by the City's auditing firm-MMKR. <br />Reviewed By: <br />City Administrator: e - <br />Finance Officer <br />CCWS: 6/8/10 <br />
