CASE # ,,~
ICSC RECAP -BRAND ROLLOUT
By: Darren Lazan, Development Manager
BACKGROUND:
On May 22"d 2010, a group representing Ramsey Town Center attended and exhibited at the
ICSC ReCON conference in Las Vegas. There were a number of goals for this conference, the
most critical being;
^ Soft roll-out of the new project brand and identity -The COR
^ Re-connect and remain active in the retail development community.
^ Measure the marketplace and consider any revisions to the plan or marketing strategy.
^ Explore potential development opportunities for the project.
The conference was relatively well attended and the attitude was generally positive considering
the economic conditions of the past few years.
The team made several connections and would like to update the HRA on the feedback we
received and potential opportunities going forward.
Following this successful soft roll-out, the team would like to make arrangements for the full
roll-out of the new project identity both locally and nationally. This will include a variety of
public relations tasks as well as the full roll-out of the identity to include completion of the
stationary system, project signage, press releases, and related communications.
The HRA should consider:
^ Feedback and opportunities derived from the ICSC event.
^ Timing and activities associated with the full brand roll-out for The COR.
DEVELOPMENT TEAM RECOMMENDATION:
The Development Team recommends the HRA direct us to prepare a complete roll-out plan and
budget for the new brand identity and present for approval at the June 15th HRA meeting.
