Case # ~` ~3 <br />AUTHORIZE PAY APPLICATION NUMBER 2 FOR THE RAMSEY MUNICIPAL <br />CENTER REMODEL <br />By: Jessica L. Hendricks, Management Intern <br />Background: <br />Construction for the Ramsey Municipal Center Build Out began on March 30, 2010. The project <br />is on track for its estimated completion date by end of business May 28, 2010. <br />On May 26, 2010 the Construction Administrator from BKV Group, Inc met with representatives <br />from Milcon, the general contractor for the project, Anoka County representatives and City Staff. <br />After touring the construction area and verifying the work done, BKV submitted the attached pay <br />application. <br />The total amount of Pay Application No. 2 is $52,718.57. This pay application is the second of <br />three. <br />Also submitted along with this pay application is a proposal from the contractor detailing Change <br />Orders Number 2 and 3. Change Order Number 2 is the sole responsibility of the County. <br />Change Order Number 3 details both County and City responsibility. This Change Order details <br />modifications made to the AV Closet and a change to one of the knee walls on the County side. <br />The County will be responsible for $429.00 of Change Order Number 3 and the City responsible <br />for the remaining $670.37. <br />Staff Recommendation: <br />Staff is recommending authorizing Pay Application No. 2 as submitted. <br />Council Action: <br />Authorize Resolution No. 10-06-X~~X, Authorizing Pay Application No. 2 for the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center Remodel. <br />Attachments: <br />Application and Certificate for Payment <br />Change Order Proposals Number 2 and 3 <br />Reviewed by: ,/ <br />Finance Officer ~'` <br />City Administrator: `~ <br />CC: 06/08/2010 <br />
