Elevator constructor. "Elevator constructor" means an individual having the necessary qualifications, <br />training, experience, and technical knowledge to wire for, install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, <br />apparatus, and equipment far elevators and escalators and who is licensed as an elevator constructor by the <br />commissioner. <br />Subd. 19. Elevator contractor. "Elevator contractor" means a licensed contractor whose responsible licensed <br />individual is a licensed master elevator constructor. An elevator contractor license does not itself qualify its <br />holder to perform or supervise the electrical or elevator work authorized by holding a personal license issued <br />by the commissioner. <br />Subd. 20. Lineman. "Lineman" means an individual having the necessary qualifications, training, experience, <br />and technical knowledge to construct and maintain transmission and distribution systems that are or will be <br />owned or leased by an electrical utility, and who is licensed as a lineman by the commissioner. <br />Subd. 21. Maintenance electrician. "Maintenance electrician" means an individual having the necessary <br />qualifications, training, experience, and technical knowledge to properly maintain and repair electrical wiring, <br />apparatus, and equipment, who is licensed as a maintenance electrician by the commissioner or who is <br />exempt from licensing by sections 3266.32 to 3266.399. <br />Subd. 22. Master elevator constructor. "Master elevator constructor" means an individual having the necessary <br />qualifications, training, experience, and technical knowledge to properly plan, fay out, and supervise the <br />installation, maintenance, and repair of wiring, apparatus, and equipment for elevators and escalators and who <br />is licensed as a master a{evator constructor by the commissioner. <br />Subd. 23.Owner. An owner is an individual who physically performs electrical work on premises the individual <br />owns and actually occupies as a residence or owns and wilt occupy as a•residence upon completion of its <br />construction. <br />Subd. 24. Personal license. "Personal license" means any license issued by the commissioner under section <br />3266.33 or the rules adopted under section 3266.33, except a contractor's license. <br />Subd. 25. Power Eimited technician. "Power limited technician" means an individual having the necessary <br />qualifications, training, experience, and technical knowledge to install, alter, repair, plan, lay out, and supervise <br />the installing, altering, and repairing of electrical wiring, apparatus, and equipment for technology circuits or <br />systems, and who is licensed as a power limited technician by the commissioner. <br />Subd. 26. Process control circuits or systems. "Process control circuits or systems" are circuits or systems, <br />regardless of electrical classification, that are integrated with a manufacturing, mining, energy, finishing, <br />conveyance of equipment or product, material handling or packaging process that makes or assembles, or <br />similar process. Process control systems does not include premises. network and communication systems <br />whose purpose or function is not dedicated to process control circuits or systems. <br />Subd. 27. Residential dwelling. A "residential dwelling" is a single dwelling unit that is contained in a one- <br />family, two-family, or multifamily dwelling as defined in the National Electrical Code pursuant to section <br />3266.35. A residential dwelling includes a garage and accessory building that can only be used by the <br />residents of the single dwelling unit. <br />
