CASE #1 <br />REVIEW COR SIGNAGE PLAN <br />By: Darren Lazan, Development Manager <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Currently, the only site identification signage on the HRA property is the sign at Sunwood and <br />Ramsey that has seen it's better days. <br />As part of the Branding effort, as well as to provide adequate contact information to potential <br />buyers and residents, we would like to construct a number of informational signs and entry <br />monuments on the project site. These would: <br />^ Dress up the corners of the property <br />^ Provide relevant sale or leasing contact information <br />^ Identify the entry points to the project <br />^ Support the brand identity and promote the project <br />^ Welcome new businesses/residential projects <br />Attached are example sign configurations, illustrations, rough cost estimates for potential sign <br />installations, and an area plan with proposed locations for your consideration. Cost estimates are <br />for planning purposes only, if we are authorized to proceed we will prepare a final plan and get <br />pricing per policy requirements. <br />In addition to these installations, we would also coordinate the content and locations for special <br />event signage such as the Farmers Market signs approved at the last meeting. This would ensure <br />the brand identity was consistent and presented to the public in an effective manner. An example <br />of this sign is included as well. <br />DEVELOPMENT TEAM RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Development Team recommends the HRA approve a budget for interim real estate signage <br />and associated landscape improvements. <br />HRA ACTION: <br />Approve a budget for Interim Real Estate signage as proposed. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />^ Example Signs <br />^ Site Locations <br />^ Example Landscaping plans and images <br />^ Preliminary cost estimates <br />
