<br />EI Gata can Batas Learning Center <br /> <br />1. Description of the Project <br />A. A learning center for children ages three to five years old <br />B. Facility will include four classrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, staff <br />lounge, an office and lobby <br />C. Hours of operation will be from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday <br />through Friday <br />D. This will not just offer babysitting services, for this reason we <br />want to call this a Learning Center instead of Day Care even <br />when this will be an all day program. <br />E. Every age group will have a specific academic program and <br />curriculum <br />2. Advantages of the program <br />A. The program will have a focus on intense Spanish tutoring, <br />reason for what we emphasis on Spanish Immersion type a <br />schooling. <br />B. This will be the first learning center to have a bilingual <br />curriculum <br />C. It will also focus on teaching the Spanish culture <br />D. The curriculum will be based on intellectual, psycho-motor and <br />social-emotional objectives <br />3. Curriculum <br />A. Curriculum was put together over years of experience after <br />acquiring degrees in kindergarten education, speech pathology, <br />education of the deaf all this in my country Peru, and masters' <br />degree in Spanish education here in Bethel University in <br />Minnesota. <br />
