<br />ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY BOARD <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />On Monday, May 3, 2010, the Environmental Policy Board (EPB) met in the Mississippi River <br />Conference Room at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Michael Max <br />Board Member Kathleen Riley-Daniels <br />Board Member John Freeburg <br />Board Member Bob Bentz <br />Board Member John Enstrom <br />Board Member Thomas Stodola <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Board Member Trent Hassett <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Environmental Coordinator Chris Anderson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Max called the meeting to order at 6:34 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Chairperson Max thanked Environmental Coordinator Anderson and the entire EPB for a <br />wonderful expo event. Chairperson Max stated that all of the various exhibitors he spoke with <br />throughout the day had very positive feedback about the event, about the number of folks that <br />they were able to speak with and the quality of the questions that they received. <br /> <br />Board Member Riley-Daniels stated that she spoke with S & B Geothermal afterward and the <br />representative thought that the event was certainly a success. She had a lot of good <br />conversations with folks about geothermal heating, some that already had a geothermal system <br />and many that were interested in learning more about them. <br /> <br />Chairperson Max stated that at about the midpoint of the event, he spoke with the MNRRA <br />exhibitor who had informed that by that point, he had already had about 150 visitors at his booth. <br />He uses a clicker to track how much traffic he receives at these events and was very pleasantly <br />surprised that he had well surpassed 100 visitors about half way through the event. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Freeburg and seconded by Board Member Riley-Daniels to approve <br />the agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />Environmental Policy Board / May 3, 2010 <br />Page 1 of 5 <br />
