Certified Building Official, designated by the City to administer <br />the code. <br />Section 105.74.. Permits, inspections and fees. The issuance of permits and the <br />collection of fees shall be as authorized in Minnesota Statutes, <br />326B.36, except that the application shall be submitted directly to <br />the City of Ramsey. <br />Permit fees shall be assessed for work governed by this code in <br />accordance with the fee schedule adopted by City ordinance <br />annually, or as the City Council may deem necessary. In addition, <br />a surcharge fee shall be collected on all permits for work governed <br />by this. code in accordance with Minnesota Statute 16B.70. Any <br />handling or inspection fees will be payable to the City of Ramsey. <br />Sections 105.75-105.100 Reserved <br />SECTION 2. PURPOSE <br />The purpose of this amendment is to establish an electrical inspections program in the City of <br />Ramsey that is administered and enforced by the City. <br />SECTION 3: SUMMARY <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #10-09 has been approved by the City Council of <br />the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br />It is the intent and effect of Ordinance #10-09 to establish an electrical inspections program in <br />the City of Ramsey that is administered and enforced by the City, as permitted in Section <br />326B.36, subd. 6, of the Minnesota Electrical Act. <br />SECTION 4: EFFECTIVE DATE <br />The effective date of this ordinance is thirty (30) days after its passage and publication, subject to <br />City Charter Section 3.10. <br />Adopted by the Ramsey City Council the 8s' day of June, 2010. <br />Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />
