Councilmember Look introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #10-OS-111 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #09-25 DYSPROSIUM <br />STREET IMPROVEMENTS AND CALLING FOR THE PREPARATION OF PLANS <br />AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted on February 9, <br />2010 a feasibility report for street improvements to Dysprosium Street between Bunker Lake <br />Blvd and Nowthen Blvd has been received, having been prepared by Steve Jankowski, Assistant <br />City Engineer; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #10-02-045 on February 9, <br />2010 fixing a date for a Council public hearing on the proposed improvement; and, <br />WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was <br />given, and the hearing was held on March 9, 2010, at which time all persons desiring to be heard <br />were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, this feasibility study was directed to be revised in Apri12010 subsequent to <br />comments received at the hearing and considered by the City Council; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has waited the required 60 day period following the public hearing. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the <br />feasibility study report. <br />2) That such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in this council resolution. <br />3) That the City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. <br />4) That the engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such <br />improvement. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution'was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Jeffrey and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Wise <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />RESOLUTION #10-OS-111 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
