Couneihriember Dehen suggested that a decision on this project be tabled to allow for additional discussion with the homeowners who do not hays a connection to the roadway. Chair Elvig agrees that this could be tabled to have staff take a look at the remaining properties and let the residents know that the City's idea is to return the money to all residents with the assurance the gap is paved, up to 9 feet. City Engineer 7ankowski. suggested that staff could take a look and measure what the actual gap distances are. Chair Elvig stated that Case #2, considering paving the driveway aprons on Welcomes Road would betabled, to allow time for staff to discuss options with homeowners. Chair Elvig asked if anything could be done to address the gravel on the shoulders. Public Works Supervisor Reimer stated that the City would need to rent a rubber fire roller. Chair Elvig suggested that this be included in future contracts to resolvg that issue. Public Works Supervisor Reimer stated that something would need to be done quickly in this situation because it will be freezing soon. ° Mr. Steh~bacher suggested that the City just bring a loaded.dump truck and drive over the areas to pack it down. • Mr. Howe expressed his appreciation to the City Council and staff for their willingness to work with residents on this project.
