CASE # ~, O3 <br />AWARD BIDS FOR 2010 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM <br />By: Steven Jankowski, Assistant City Engineer <br />Background: <br />The 2010 Street Maintenance Program addresses scheduled preventative maintenance on a <br />portion of the City's 170 mile street system. This year's program consists of two separate <br />contracts. Division A includes the sealcoating and cracksealing on 11.4 miles of street. Division <br />B includes the bituminous overlay on 4.6 miles of street and also includes concrete pavement and <br />curb repair. <br />On Thursday July 1, 2010 bids were received from eight bidders. This year's program had two <br />divisions which may be awarded separately to the low bidder in each division.
