Staff recommends that letters be sent to affected property owners on IP 08-33 and IP 08-34 advising <br />them of the additional driveway paving costs, outlined in the feasibility study, that they will be <br />responsible. This could include the option to pay them directly or have them added to their assessment <br />for the overall roadway project. <br />-and- <br />Staff further recommends that this policy be adopted for all future dirt street paving and reconstruction <br />projects. <br />Council Action: <br />Motion to modify the driveway apron paving policy to consist of replacing improved impacted driveway <br />surfaces in kind, and to install bituminous aprons on unimproved driveway surfaces up to a maximum of <br />200 square feet as a project cost. <br />-and- <br />Motion to request that letters be sent to affected properties on IP 08-33 and IP 08-34 advising them of <br />the additional driveway paving costs, outlined in the feasibility study, that they will be responsible.
