<br />Exemptions. The exemptions permitted by this section shall apply only to the requirement of a permit and fee and
<br />shall not be construed as relieving the installer of the sign, or the owner of the property upon which the sign is
<br />located, from conforming with the other provisions of this division.

<br />Temporary signs.
<br />(2)
<br />A window sign not exceeding 30 percent of the window area.
<br />(3)
<br />Holiday decorations temporarily displayed on traditionally accepted civic, patriotic, or religious holidays.
<br />(4)
<br />On-premises address or nameplate identification. signs having a sign area of four square feet or less.
<br />(5)
<br />Memorial plaques or tablets, grave markers, statutory, or other remembrances of persons or events that are
<br />noncommercial in nature.
<br />(6)
<br />Interior signs which are fully located within the interior of any building or stadium, or within an enclosed lobby or
<br />court of any building, or in the lobby or entrance of any theater which are intended solely for information relating to
<br />the interior operation of the building in which they are located.

<br />Sec. 117-485.-Application.
<br />Application for permits shall be made upon forms provided by the zoning administrator and shall state or
<br />have attached thereto the following information:
<br />(1)
<br />The names, addresses, and telephone numbers of the applicant, the owner of the parcel on which the sign is to be
<br />erected or affixed, the owner of the sign, and the person to be erecting or affixing the sign.

<br />Type of sign.
<br />(3)
<br />Type of construction materials to be used.
<br />(4)
<br />Location of building, structure or parcel to which, or upon which, the sign is to be attached or erected.
<br />(5)
<br />Position of the sign or other advertising structures in relation to the nearest buildings, structures, public streets,
<br />rights-of-way and property lines, along with location and square footage areas far all existing signs on the same
<br />premises. The drawing showing such position shall be prepared "to scale."
<br />(6)
<br />Blueprint or ink drawing of the plans and specifications, and method of construction or attachment to the building or
<br />in the ground, including all dimensions, locating all light sources, wattage, type and color of lights and details of any
<br />light shields or shades.

<br />Copy of stress sheets and calculations, showing the structure is designated for dead load and wind velocity in the
<br />amount required by this division and all other ordinances of the city, if required by the zoning administrator or
<br />building official. The zoning administrator or building official may require additional information concerning safety.
<br />(8)
<br />An agreement with the city which would authorize and direct the city to remove the sign and sign structure, at the
<br />expense of the applicant, where maintenance is required and the maintenance is not furnished, but only after a
<br />notice of 60 days specifying the maintenance required by the city.

<br />Sec. 117-486.-Administration.
<br />The zoning administrator shall process applicatidns for permits. The building official is empowered, upon
