Mayor Ramsey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #10-06-121 <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING SALE <br />WHEREAS, Vehicle #371. (VIN: 2FAFP71W61X136840) and Vehicle #381 <br />(2FAFP71 V 18X102760) are in need of extensive mechanical repair; and <br />WHEREAS, staff is requesting Council declare Vehicle #371 and Vehicle #381 as <br />surplus property and authorize the sale of them at the Minneapolis Auto Auction; and <br />WHEREAS, staff is requesting Council also declare (1) used pipe trailer 8' x 24' and <br />(I) 1967 Ford 3000 Tractor w/Edwards side flail (which does not run) as surplus property and <br />authorize staff to place an ad for sealed bids. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council hereby declares Vehicle #371 and Vehicle #381, as surplus <br />property and authorizes the sale of them at the Minneapolis Auto Auction. <br />2) That the City Council hereby declares the used pipe trailer and the 1967 Ford 3000 <br />tractor w/Edwards side flail as surplus property and authorizes staff to place an ad to sell <br />by sealed bids. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Jeffrey and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Wise <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />none <br />and the following abstained: <br />none <br />and the following were absent: <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />RESOLUTION #10-06-121 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
