City of Ramsey FACILITY USE AND RENTAL POLICY The purpose of this policy is to provide written guidelines in conjunction with the use and rental of the Municipal Center, Park Center Building, and City Amphitheater. The Ramsey Municipal Center houses the administrative and police functions of the City of Ramsey. Additionally, the Municipal Center serves as a location for various public meetings of the City Council, Council CommitteesBoards and other governmental bodies. Regular meetings of the City Council are held at the Municipal Center on the 2"a and 4`h Tuesdays in the Council Chambers and work sessions are held on the 1S1 3`a and 5`h Tuesdays in the Lake Itasca Room. The following facilities may be available for public use iri the City of Ramsey: Ramsey Municipal Center - 7550 Sunwood Drive NW Alexander Ramsey Room Capacity 274 (standing) 100 (seated) **Please note that the Alexander Ramsey Room also serves as the City's official Emergency Operations Center (EOC~in the case that the EOC is in operation, outside use of the room will not be available. Mississippi River Room Capacity 10 Rum River Room Capacity 10 Trott Brook Room Capacity 10 Lake Itasca Room Capacity 55 Park Center Building at Central Park - 7925 1615` Avenue NW The Park Center Building at Central Park has available for public use in accordance with this policy, one large common area. that accommodates a capacity of 74 persons. *Please note that the Park Center facility does not have a dedicated phone line within the facility. City of Ramsey Amphitheater - 7401 East Ramsey Parkway The City Amphitheater is located in the COR. The Amphitheater has seating available for 300 people. Please note that events that are put on for the enjoyment of all Ramsey residents, such as the Ramsey Foundation's Summer Concert Series, will take precedence over private events. The need to conduct City business takes precedence over any reservation, paid or unpaid. Paid reservations will be rescheduled if possible or refunded if City business replaces the community organization or business reservation. City facilities may be reserved by not-for-profit organizations or initiatives and by Ramsey for-profit businesses for business meetings. For-profit use of the facility can not involve the sale of goods or use that exceeds four (4) reservations per year. The for- 1
