Case #5: VA Medical Clinic Development Structure <br />Development Manager Lazan reviewed the staff report. <br />Commissioner Ramsey stated he did not want anything to do with IRET. <br />Chairperson Dehen stated he wanted to keep the government out of the private sector. <br />Commissioner Elvig stated he also did not want to go with IRET. <br />Commissioner Look stated he did not want to go with IRET. <br />Chairperson Dehen stated he did not see why the HRA would not want to get a proposal from <br />IRET. <br />Commissioner Wise stated if the HRA wanted to get this into the private sector that was how he <br />wanted to proceed. <br />Development Manager Lazan recommended staff have a short meeting with IRET to see what <br />IRET has to say. <br />Deputy City Administrator Nelson stated as a professional courtesy to IRET, she believed staff <br />should have a talk with them. <br />Development Manage Lazan presented the proposed Project Organization Chart if the HRA was <br />the project manager for the VA Building and Parking Ramp Expansion. <br />It was the HRA's consensus to proceed with the plan and come back to the HRA with more <br />detail. <br />Case #6: Update on Sands Company Rental Housing Project (SCI Associates, LLC), <br />(Portions will be closed to the public) <br />Executive Director Nelson reviewed the staff report. She noted the HRA could go into closed <br />session to discuss the proposed sale of Outlot A, Ramsey Town Center 7c' Addition to SCI <br />Associates, LLC. <br />Motion by Commissioner Jeffrey, seconded by Commissioner Look, to proceed to closed <br />session. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Dehen, Commissioners Jeffrey, Look, Elvig, Ramsey, <br />McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None.
