Attachment C
Reasons why we do not want to have a new garage aligned with our house:
1. Our property is a corner lot.
2. There is a hill around the south and east side.
3. There is a swamlike area on the northeast corner.
4. A garage aligned with our home would have to be built close to our current tin shed, thus not
leaving an ample amount of space between the two buildings.
5. It would not add to the aesthetic look of our current buildings and lot.
6. We would have to cutdown -our 20+ year old apple tree.
7. We would lose our 20+ year old garden spot.
S. We would lose our strawberry patch.
9. We would lose our brick recreational fire pit.
10. The red pines on the north side of our.lot would be extremely difficult to remove if they die
(red pine dilemma says they probably will). They would be between power lines and a new
building, with our neighbors home, and some of his trees, being on the north side of the power
lines. The spot we would like to build on would allow easier tree removal without the harming of
power lines or buildings.
11. A garage aligned with our home would block a direct line for use of the sand point well (in
our tin shed) to a new garden site.
12. We just purchased new garden fencing, posts and gate for the current garden area.
13. Having the garage aligned with our home would cost more in class 5 to make a path to it.
14. Allowing us to build a garage where we want it will put money into the still struggling
economy and give a few people work.
15. The trees on the west side of our property would conceal the majority of the garage building
if built where we want it to be built.
0
