Woodward, 2010 WL 1816355 (N.H. <br />2010) <br />NEW HAMPSHIRE (05/07/10)—This case addressed what factors <br />should be considered in determining whether a nonconforming use has <br />been abandoned. <br />The Background/Pacts: Since before 1960, Pike Industries, Inc. <br />("Pike") operated an asphalt production plant in the town. In the mid- <br />1960s, the town adopted an ordinance that zoned the area surround- <br />ing the plant as residential and agricultural use.
