subdivision is going to the Park and Recreation Commission next Thursday night. Residents can <br />attend and recommend that this be a dedicated park. <br />Grant Heino, 4861 142nd Lane NW. Mr. Heino has developed approximately 22 memory loss <br />senior complexes through out the U.S. and Canada and in the process had significant amount of <br />seniors escape and get injured, so he has a concern about the water. There should be safety <br />measures in place for the containment of the seniors. <br />Mr. Heino showed on the site location map areas thatareflooded. He wanted clarification that <br />flood planes would be reviewed. Associate Planner Gladhill stated that grading plans would be. <br />submitted and reviewed. <br />Discussionensued on the zoning of the parcel, and public notice of when the site plan moves <br />forward. <br />Associate Planner Gladhill stated that the site plan application was not brought forward at this <br />time to defer the cost and liability to the future property owner. He added that if the zoning were <br />to change, it would require a comprehensive plan amendment. <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Cleveland to recognize the City <br />Council's obligation to move forward with the subdivision subject to seeking a more appropriate <br />resolution. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Levine, Cleveland, Hunt, and <br />Van Scoy. Voting No: None.
