<br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #10-08- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING TERMS FOR THE OUTSIDE DISPLAY OF MODULAR <br />HOMES FOR SALE AT 7820 RIVERDALE DR NW <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Autumn Leaf Home Builders, Inc. (the "Permittee") has requested to <br />display modular homes for sale (the "Modular Structures") in the B-2 Highway Business District <br />on the property generally known as 7820 Riverdale Dr NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 2, Block 4, Alpaca Estates (Subject to Easement as Shown on Plat) <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the City Council considered the request on August 9,2010; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Subject Property is zoned B-2 Highway Business; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the adjoining parcels are also zoned B-2 Highway Business and the parcels <br />to the south are zoned R-l Residential (MUSA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the outdoor display of items for sale are a permitted use in the B-2 Highway <br />Business District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City finds that the items proposed for display in this instance are unique <br />enough to require special consideration to certain zoning requirements including setbacks and <br />building coverage as a result of the display of the Modular Homes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City finds that this agreement is necessary in order to ensure that the <br />Modular Homes do not become a permanent structure. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the Permittee shall be allowed to display the Modular Structures for sale on the Subject <br />Property as indicated on the site plan, herein attached as Exhibit A. The Permittee shall not <br />be allowed to construct or otherwise store modular homes that are not for sale on the Subject <br />Property . <br /> <br />2. That the Modular Structures shall not be placed on a permanent foundation. <br /> <br />3. That the landscaping may be established surrounding the Modular Structures to give the <br />appearance of an established yard. <br />
