Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />CONSIDER A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN ADJUSTMENT <br />TO THE DEPUTY CITY ADMINISTRATOR/COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR'S COMPENSATION <br />WHEREAS, The incumbent in this position, Ms. Heidi Nelson, assumed the <br />position of Deputy City Administrator/Community Development Director in June <br />2009, taking on the duties and responsibilities of Community Development Director in <br />addition to those of assistant (Deputy) City Administrator; and <br />WHEREAS, No additional compensation was given at this time; and <br />WHEREAS, Currently, the position salary lags behind other organizational <br />department head positions with similar responsibilities. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br />Make a motion recommending the City Council authorize the Deputy City <br />Administrator/ Community Development Director salary be adjusted to <br />$100,644, effective July 1, 2010. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 24th day of August 2010. <br />
