COR PROJECT SIGNAGE
By: Darren Lazan, Development Manager
BACKGROUND:
CASE #3
Currently, the only site identification signage existing on The COR property is the sign at
Sunwood and Ramsey that has seen it's better days.
As part of the Branding effort, as well as to provide adequate contact information to potential
buyers and residents, the development team would like to construct a number of informational
signs and entry monuments on the project site. These would:
• Dress up the corners of the property
• Provide relevant sale or leasing contact information
• Identify the entry points to the project
• Support the brand identity and promote the project
• Welcome and promote new businesses/residential projects
There are three categories of signs contemplated in this proposal:
Real Estate Signs - Presented previously, and included in this proposal are temporary sign
locations along Sunwood Drive at Ramsey Boulevard, City Hall/Municipal Plaza, and at
Armstrong. These are Alumicore panels installed on 6x6 posts and minimally landscaped. These
would provide project identity, give leasing/sales information to prospective buyers, and dress up
key corners of the project. These would all eventually replaced with permanent signage
contemplated at these same locations.
Rehab Pylons — There are two existing pylons along Highway 10 at Ramsey Boulevard (former
Holiday Station), and at Armstrong Boulevard (former Oasis Market). These are currently in
disrepair, but are structurally sufficient to be rehabilitated and would be great identification signs
for The COR. This proposal contemplates priming and repainting the structures, rewiring as
necessary to restore the lighting, and replacing the lexan panels with COR identity signs and
information. Minimal landscaping would be added to the base of these to clean up the corners
after demolition of the primary structures. These signs could be powered from the service to the
existing structures even after demolition.
New Community Pylon — Included for your consideration is a proposal and rendering of a new
30' pylon proposed to be constructed on Highway 10 directly in front of the Municipal Center.
This sign would be the largest of the three pylons and in addition to project identity and tenant
information, it would include a digital reader board for project and community announcements.
The sign would be powered from the existing civil defense siren service.
Pricing was requested from three contractors and provided by two on these items, and can be
awarded in part or in total without affecting the individual pricing.
