Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #10 -09 -XXX <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CITY PROJECT 08 -34, <br />THE BITUMINOUS PAVING OF 151 AND 152 AVENUES, AND FLUORINE STREET <br />WHEREAS, on January 12, 2010 the Ramsey City Council authorized the solicitation of bids <br />from plans prepared by City staff, and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Improvement Project 08 -34, the <br />bituminous paving of 151 St and 152 Avenues, and Fluorine Street, bids were received, opened and <br />tabulated according to law; and <br />WHEREAS, the following is a summary of the bids that were received: <br />Contractor Total Bid <br />WHEREAS, XXX is the lowest responsible bidder. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with XXX for Improvement Project 08 -34, the bituminous paving of 151 and 152 Avenues, and <br />Fluorine Street in the amount of $XXX, and <br />2) That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the <br />deposits made with their bids. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />RESOLUTION #10 -09 -XXX <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
