3 <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />Topic Report: Update on City Project #09 -25, <br />Dysprosium Street Reconstruction <br />By: Tim Himmer, City Engineer <br />Background: <br />Council approved the reconstruction of Dysprosium Street on May 11, 2010. Due to the 2010 <br />workload in the engineering department, including a significant amount of resources being put into <br />the development of The Draw, the plan preparation for this project has been delayed. It is unlikely <br />that this project can be constructed this year because of the outstanding items and State Aid (MSA) <br />process that must be followed prior to having an approved project at the state level. <br />Staff is proposing to prepare a letter to the residents updating them on the status of this project. We <br />will also complete the design and submit the plans to MSA for review and approval prior to the end <br />of the year.
