Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-06-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 2003 BUDGET AMENDMENTS FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF AMENDING THE CITY'S GENERAL FUND BUDGET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during the year 2003, the Ramsey City Council acted on matters impacting <br />the expenditure budgets of the City's General Fund items in dealing with loss of state aids to the <br />City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, for financial reporting purposes, amendments t o t he City's General Fund <br />Budget are to be made in the form of a Budget Amendment Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the following budget amendments are in addition to those previously <br />adopted. <br /> <br />GENERAL FUND: <br /> <br />To amend expenditure activities for the 2003 calendar year. This amendment incorporates <br />budget amendments made by Council action during 2003. This amendment will amend <br />expenditure activities from $7,415,480 to $7,305,208 for a net decrease of $110,272. <br /> <br />Personal Services <br />Supplies <br />Other Services and Charges <br />Net Decrease in General Fund'Budgeted Expenditures <br /> <br />$ (33,965) <br /> (23,275) <br /> (53,032) <br />$ (110,272) <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, that the City Council hereby <br />directs the Finance Officer to enter these budget amendments into the City's financial records. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted' by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 10th day of June, 2003. <br /> <br />-117- <br /> <br /> <br />
