-128- <br /> <br /> Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #03-06-XXX <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RAMSEY LIONS APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE <br /> PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT JR'S SALOON IN RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Ramsey Lions has applied for a premise permit for gambling at JR's <br /> Saloon, 6141 Highway 10, Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Ramsey Lions has requested Council waive the 30-day notice <br />provision; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for The <br /> Ramsey Lions to operate lawful gambling at JR'S Saloon, 6141 Highway 10, Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br /> Officer to sign the applic_ation and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br /> Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 10th day of June, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />
