Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #03-06-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE 2003 <br />PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM - DIVISION A CRACKSEALING AND <br />SEALCOATING (IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS #03-01, #03-02, #03-03, #03-04 AND <br />#03-05) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the R amsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br />advertisement for bids for the above-referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2003 Street Maintenance <br />Program, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on June 6, 2003; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the following bids were received for the 2003 Street Maintenance Program <br />Division A Cracksealing and Sealcoating: <br /> <br /> Bidder Amount of Bid <br /> <br /> Engineer's Estimate $ <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br /> contract with in the name of the City of Ramsey for the 2003 Pavement <br /> Maintenance Program - Division A, Cracksealing and Sealcoating (Improvement Projects <br /> #03-01, #03-02, #03-03, #03-04 and #03-05), in the amount of $ <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I, <br />I! <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />-200- <br /> <br /> <br />
