-202- <br /> <br />Councilrnember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #03-06-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE 2003 <br />PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM - DIVISION B BITUMINOUS OVERLAY <br />(IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS #03-06, #03-07) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br />advertisement for bids for the above-referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2003 Pavement Maintenance <br />Program, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on June 6, 2003; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the following bids were received for the 2003 Pavement Maintenance <br />Program - Bituminous Overlay: <br /> <br /> Bidder Amount of Bid <br /> <br /> Engineer's Estimate $ <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />R~MSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br /> contract with in the name of the City of Ramsey for the 2003 Pavement <br /> Maintenance Program - Bituminous Overlay Division B (Improvement Projects #03-06 <br /> and #03-07) in the amount of $ <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> ., and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> <br />
