I am a homeowner in Ramsey. I have lived on Sunfish Lake Boulevard for over .20 years. I have been following the proposals for-the town home developments behind our property. First we followed the proposals of Alpine Acres and now the second edition of Alpine Acres. At the time of the frrst edition of Alpine Acres, Henry and Evelyn DeBoer accreed to sell a portion of their property on the condition that only single family homes be built on it and the other condition was that the developer was to pay for the connection of City water and sewer to the DeBoer's home. Now, I find myself writing to you because the newest developer is proposing to place two town homes containing 7 units, total. I was shocked to see that this proposal was even being considered. Evelyn and Henry felt very strongly that their property should have single family hctnes and no town homes should be built on that property. Henry died last July and now Evelyn died this April. Here it is, less than a couple of months after Evelyn's death and the developer is proposing to rezone that property to go against their wishes. I understand that the developer needs to build more units on this property because since the death of the DeBoers, their daughters have renegotiated and that the :leveloper now needs to pay more -293-
