Summary and Recommendations <br /> <br />Item 3 - Well Field Vulnerability Study (~Vell $ and Well 6) <br />A Well Field Vulnerability Study will be performed on Well 5 and the proposed Well 6. The study will <br />focus on the areas surrounding the wells in order to reduce potential contamination. <br /> <br />Item 4 - Hydrologic Study of the Proposed New Well <br />The Hydrologic Study will evaluate the effects the new well field will have on the surficial aquifers. The <br />wellhead protection computer model prepared by the Department of Health will be utilized in the analysis. <br /> <br />Item $ - Water User Rate Study <br />Based on the Comprehensive Water System Study recommended improvements, we ~vould develop a <br />financial plan for implementing the improvements. The existing water user rates and SAC charges will be <br />reviewed for adequate and equitable funding of future improvements. <br /> <br />We would review each of the major water area findings with the City staff prior to preparing the draft <br />reports. The draft reports will be reviewed with the CiW staff. Final reports will be prepared which will <br />include all of the appropriate responses for the City staff. The findings of the final reports will be presented <br />to the City staff and City Council. <br /> <br />The cost to prepare the Comprehensive Water System Study Update and other related items presented is <br />$I5,000.
