Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #10-07-147 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 1sT PARTIAL PAYMENT TO GREAT NORTHERN LANDSCAPES INC. FOR CONTRACT B IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #10-23 EAST MEANDERING COMMONS PARK WHEREAS, on January 26, 2010 the Ramsey City Council authorized the solicitation of bids from plans prepared by URS Corporation, Close Landscape Architecture, and City staff; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Improvement Project 10-23, East Meandering Commons Pazk, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on March 26, 2010; and WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Great Northern Landscapes, Inc. in the amount of $5,320.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Great Northern Landscapes, Inc. for the IP 10-23 East Meandering Commons Pazk in the amount of $5,320.00. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the pay request and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of July 2010. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Look upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Ramsey Councilmember Elvig Councilmember Look Councilmember Jeffrey Councilmember McGlone and the following voted against the same: RESOLUTION #10-07-147 Page 1 of 2
