Commission Cleveland stated errors were made in the past that need to be corrected. She stated <br />she will keep opposing it until the zoning changes. <br />Motion by Commissioner Cleveland, seconded by Commissioner Hunt to recommend that the <br />City Council approve the site plan contingent upon compliance with the City Staff review letter <br />dated July 29, 2010. <br />Motion failed. Voting Yes: Commissioners Hunt and Van Scoy; Voting No: Commissioners <br />Cleveland and Levine; and Absent: Commissioners Brauer, Dunaway, and Rogers. <br />Motion by Commissioner Van Scoy, seconded by Commissioner Hunt to table the site plan. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Van Scoy, Hunt, and <br />Cleveland. <br />Case #4: Update on DNR Rulemaking for Mississippi River Corridor Critical Area <br />and Shoreland Rules; Case of the City of Ramsey <br />Presentation <br />Associate Planner Gladhill presented the staff report. <br />Board Business <br />Commissioner Van Scoy stated the recommendations that staff made were reasonable. The <br />recommendations are coming out of a workshop of several communities. <br />Chairperson Levine stated he thinks the definitions are fine. <br />Case #5: Staff Update <br />The Staff Update was noted. <br />Case #6: Zoning Bulletin <br />The Zoning Bulletin was noted. <br />OTHER COMMISSION BUSINESS <br />Over 500 people attended the Big Walter Smith concert at the new amphitheater. The next event <br />is September 9a'. The festival on Al Pearson's farm is the end of September.
